Requirements for a legal wedding in Ireland
Many couples choose to get legally married in their home country first, before eloping to Ireland to have a Symbolic Ceremony. Ceremonies can be held at Sea View House, along the Cliffs of Moher, or by the coastline. The ceremony can be carried out by an Officiant, Celebrant, Celtic priest, Monk or Family friend. However, it is relatively straightforward to get legally married here in Ireland. The Irish marriage licence is valid internationally. We can assist you in arranging a celebrant who is licensed to carry out the Irish legal wedding ceremony (Solemniser).
