6. Doolin Cliff Walk

Embark on the picturesque Doolin Cliff Walk to experience the Cliffs of Moher from Doolin. The scenic trail starts just outside our lodges and extends along the magnificent cliffs.

You can enjoy the Doolin Cliff Walk on your own, but we highly recommend joining a guided tour led by local farmer Pat Sweeney.

The length of your hike depends on the trail you choose. There are several routes along the Cliffs of Moher Walk, and starting from Doolin, the top options are:

  • Doolin to Hag’s Head: Approximately 13 km, taking around 4.5 hours.
  • Doolin to the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre: Roughly 8 km, which takes about 3 hours.

Be sure to allow extra time to soak in the breathtaking views! The trail includes a short road stretch and gravel and grass paths along the cliffs. While the walk is not difficult, it does require comfort with heights and it is important to stay on the trail for your own safety.
